ISON comet latest position in solar system, updates on ISON comet 

International Scientific Optical Network organisation in Russia discovered ISON comet in the solar system and it is named after the discoverer organisation.

ISON comet is a big ice ball and it is heading towards the Sun at a speed of 48000 miles per hour. The long tail of ISON comet is mostly comprised of Carbon Di Oxide CO2 gas and dust.

Solar wind strips ISON comet's nucleus and it's material away during it's journey towards the Sun.

ISON comet is approaching to the Sun from very vast reaches of Solar system and according to it's April's position from the Sun posses very interesting astronomical data. Comet ISON is captured in the backdrop of numerous galaxies which are 30 billion times more distant from it's position to the Sun and the nearest star is 40000 more further from it's distance to the Sun.

Comet ISON will be visible to naked eye in November 2013 on the earth.

There is no threat from the comet ISON on the planet earth during it's approach to the Sun. the comet ISON is expected to go back to it's out reaches of the solar system after making it's trip around the Sun.
