Narendra Modi calls Run For Unity an effort of Rashtra Bhakti

Run For Unity celebrated across India supporting Statue of Unity movement on Sunday, 15th december 2013

Narendra Modi's call to youth of India to Run For Unity is heard across the country on Sunday morning. Youth from from various age group from Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Patna, Allahabad, Manipur uploaded their live photos on social networking websites to share the enthusiasm of unity today.

Narendra Modi dedicates the occassion to India's Loh Purush Sardar Patel's punya tithi. He remembers untiring efforts of Sardar Patel to unite India and integrating people. According to Shri Narendra Modi, Run For Unity is an effort of Rashtra Bhakti (patriotism) for Indians.

Statue of Unity movement organises Run For Unity today in all over the country (from Jammu to Kanyakumari) from 8 AM to 11 AM to show the unity in diversity of India. Narendra Modi shares number of tweets on his twitter profile to support the movement. He also flags off the marathon Run For Unity at Vadodara, Gujarat in the morning.
