Civil Services giving more emphasis with New Pattern

Now, Civil Services gone in emphasis mode with high pressure, if you are preparing for IAS, IFS, IRS etc its terrible rumor for you, intended at renovate civil service examinations, a new pattern giving more stress on evaluating universal studies and aptitude skills of aspirants has been notified by the government.

The Civil Services (Mains) exams for the first time will also have a divide paper on “principles, truthfulness and ability”, according to a gazette notification issued by Department of Personnel and Training on the changes about the test conducted by Union Public Service Commission. The UPSC has also introduced an English language paper, whose marks will count in final selection of aspirants for services like IAS, IFS, IPS, IRS and other sought after Central jobs.

April 4 is the last date for filling online UPSC civil services application form

The DoPT has also changed the marks distribution of papers and increased number of compulsory subject papers of general studies for the main examination. The paper on essay and English comprehension will continue to be of 300 marks. The civil services preliminary examination will be held on May 26, this year and the last date for filing online application is April 4.
