Lower energy consumption

According to Apple technical updates, OSX Mavericks operating system is more power efficient than predecessors and faster too.

OSX Mavericks compresses memory for faster response time, slows down processing of apps that are not currently in use and groups low-level operations. This helps CPU to enter into low-power mode more frequently to conserve battery life.

Overall, OSX Mavericks updates makes Mac series desktop a great machine from it's predecessors.
