Google Doodle marks CV Raman's 125th birthday birth anniversary

Nobel laurate Indian physicist Dr.Chandrashekhara Venkata Raman honored with Google Doodle on his 125th birth anniversary

Google Doodle marks a respect for Dr. CV Raman on his 125th birth anniversary with his theory known as Raman effect for light travelling through transparent medium. Dr. CV Raman was born on 7th November 1988. He was honoured with Nobel prize in physics for his work in light and wavelength.

Google use to celebrate emminent laurates birth anniversaries on Google Doodle for their contribution to human society. Dr.CV Raman is the only Indian physicist honoured with Nobel prize in 1930. After Dr.CV Raman no Indian physicist have recieved Nobel honour in research field.

Dr.CV Raman also discovered the quantum photon spin in 1932. He studied the acoustics of musical instruments and travelling of waves on chord. Dr.CV Raman died in 1970 at the the age of 82.
